Social Networking Site Like Myspace Pays Its Members

Friday, 29. January 2010

So the other I was surfing over at Traffic Swarm racking up some points. I ran across this advertisement for Yuwie, a new social networking site. The premise is that you sign up, create a profile, and surf the site and you get paid a portion of the sites profit. For every 1000 page views, you get a portion of the profit. I don’t know about you, but I probably only rack up 1000 page views per month. But for those of you who are really in Myspace or Facebook, you guys could probably rack up 1000 page views a week.

Some of the features that your Yuwie account will have are blogging, messaging, and groups; adding friends, pictures, and photos; listening to music, and a referral. So the more of your friends that you refer surf, the more you earn. It is totally free to sign up. Membership is open to people worldwide.

Now, there are only two drawbacks I have found so far. First, the site has a fairly regular rotation of pop-up ads. I use Ubuntu, a linux OS, for most of my regular computing. Additionally I use the latest version of Firefox. In my experience, Firefox catches %95 of the pop-ups. So definitely make sure you are using the latest version of your favorite browser. Second, the site uses a fairly heavy rotation transition ad pages. For example, lets say I was reading my messages. When I leave my email console to another part of the website, the next page that is shown is an ad. You have the choice to do something with the ad, say clicking on the sponsors link, or you have the option of skipping the ad. About %99 of the time I just hit skip ad.

The best part of using this site to earn a little extra money is this, their affiliate program. Their affiliate program pay out ten levels deep. They claim you can make up to $.50 per 1000 page views. I am very skeptical about that. I am guessing it is around as the site grows and matures, it will come in somewhere around $.10 and .$15 per 1000. So for arguments sake, lets say it is $.10/1000 page views. If you refer 3 people, and they refer 3 people until you get to 10 levels deep, you “could” make approximately $2047. This example assumes 1000 page views x 3 referrals x 10 levels. Unless you know the people you are referring personally, I would venture to say you could probably make about %10 of that. There are going to be a lot of people who join and don’t do anything with it. But this is definitely not one to pass up.  Check out Yuwie to see why people love this site and get paid to set up their profile, join groups, browse other members, and listen to music.

Paid To Read Emails

Get paid To Read Emails

Paid to read email program (PTR) are an interesting way of making money. The premise is that the pay to read program sends you emails from sponsors, and you get paid to read the email, and then visit a site for 15-90 seconds. Generally each email is worth 1/4 of a cent to 10 cents.  As you can see, pay to read email program in itself won’t make you money very fast. But don’t pass on the paid to read email programs just yet.

You can also earn money by referring people to these programs. This is tiered earning, also referred to as multilevel earning. An example would be you earning %10 of what some you referred makes; then you would makes %5 of what someone they referred makes; you would make %3 of the next level; and finally you would make %2 of the last persons earnings.

The key here is exposure. Your referral link has to reach a lot of people. So multiple web pages are a must. Now I am not talking 100 link exchange sites, unless you have that kind of time. You are best of making 2-3 different web sites each with links to your pay to read email referrals.  Now just having a couple of websites with your referrals on it won’t earn you a lot of money fast. It will take time for your websites to garner enough regular traffic to start making money. So to speed things along, you are going to have to three specific things to get the traffic you need to grow your money.

  1. The first thing you have to is to optimize your website for search engines to index them.
  2. The second is to ensure your site is designed for people to click on your banners and links.
  3. The final step is to submit your site to as many search engines and web directories and you can.

As you can see, this is a very simplistic article just to expose you to the pad to read email programs. I will expand these articles later to help you promote your sites and capitalize on your hair work.
