Getting Started With Paid To Read Emails

Not too long ago I saw an ad that touted I could make money online just by reading emails. I was thinking to myself, “Yeah right, get paid cash to read emails“. But I knew that it was possible to earn points towards redeeming prizes. So I signed up for a few. Well they weren’t lying. You can earn money by reading emails. Not only that, but I am living proof of that. Here is how it works:

1. You sign up for the Paid to Read program, more commonly referred to as PTR. All of the ones I have found are free.
2. You decide to either have the program deliver emails to your personal email account or to the sites inbox. I recommend having them sent to your email account. This makes sure you see that you have PTR emails waiting.
3. You open the PTR email and click on the highlighted link.
4. Once you click on the link, a new page or tab will open up. At that point the top frame will show a timer and the bottom frame will show the web page.
5. Take a look at what’s on the page and once the timer is done counting down, you will be credited for that visit.
6. You are credited anywhere between 1/4 cent to 3 cents per email. You can generally cash out after $2.00.

It really is that simple! I know what you are saying, the emails don’t pay much at all. And you are right, you won’t make a lot of money fast. But it is ez-internet-money. The following is a list of how much ez internet-money I earned between September 6th, 2009 and October 11th, 2009.

The grand total for the five weeks is $25.10. To be honest, this figure isn’t a true representation of earnings potential. Not all sites were subscribed to five weeks ago. Some have only be active for a week. At this rate I will have earned $261.04 for the year. The sites that I signed up for were simply chosen because I found them first. I have found over 35 different PTR sites. If you were to extrapolate this figure, it would be feasible to earn $125 a month.

As you can plainly see, $125/month does not equate to a full time job. But don’t let that stop you from signing up. Each of the above sites offers an affiliate plan. What this means is that if you refer someone to the program, you ear a percentage of what they make. Most of them are %10. Some programs pay you 5 levels deep. For example, if I refer ten people earning %10 of their earnings, I have made equal to the amount I earned by my own clicks. If you continue that out to the 2nd or 3rd level, you can estimate the earnings potential from the exponential amount of referrals that are possible.
