Free software can be found all over the internet. Some of it good, most of it marginal, and some of it harmful. But how does this pertain to the small business owner or the individual entrepreneur? Free software can save you time by automating or optimizing. And by its name, free software saves you money.

Example of different software categories that I will cover are automation software, system maintenance software, anti-virus and malware software, Office applications, and operating systems.
